Duke Energy wants to extend the life of its Gibson plant in Indiana from 2035 to 2038, and would modify the plant to run on gas and coal. By Dan Gearino Duke Energy is proposing a three-year extension for the Gibson power plant in southwest Indiana, the second-largest coal-fired power plant in the country.
