A nuclear plant in Minnesota has leaked around 400,000 gallons of water contaminated with tritium, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) reported Thursday. The leak was first detected by the plant’s owner Xcel Energy in November of 2022, but state officials only informed the public last week. …
